Minimum qualification to apply for GATE in Statistics branch?
I have a CGPA of 5.5 in M.Sc Mathematics. If I sit for GATE Statistics, would I be eligible for any PG course at all? Also, if I sit for GATE Mathematics (assuming I get through) could I apply for M.Sc Statistics at any IITs?

Master’s degree holders in any branch of Science/ Mathematics/ Statistics/Computer Applications or equivalent and those who are in the final year of such programs are eligible for GATE.
If you sit for maths you will get course of math and if you sit for statistics then you will get course of statistics. |
