Railway Recruitment Board or RRB recruits Assistant Loco Pilot by conducting an examination, details of which have been discussed below. This is a good opportunity for the ITI and Polytechnic students. A 5-6 months preparation is more than enough to crack this exam successfully. You should have passed matriculation or its equivalent to sit for this exam. In other words you should be minimum 10th pass out. Apart from that you should have apprentice or ITI on specific trades or you can hold a diploma degree in mechanical or electrical or electronics or automobile engineering. Your age must be between 18 and 30 years. There is age relaxation for the reserved categories. Selection Procedure includes: Written Exam Aptitude Test Document Verification The exam would have only one single paper and the duration of the paper is one and a half hours. Mainly objective type questions will come and all total there will be 120 questions. There is negative marking as well. Which means 1/3rd marks will be deducted from your original score for every wrong answer. Questions will come from the following subjects for the exam: General Intelligence and reasoning General Science Technical Ability General Awareness Arithmetic The question paper will basically be set in hindi, english, urdu and in the elected language as well. To understand the proper structure of the syllabus and pattern of the questions download the files attached as it contains previous year questions. Solve more such questions to gain more confidence. Hope this helps. Good luck |
