The paper pattern for exam is same as in PO:
i) Test of English Language (Grammer, Vocabulary, Comprehension etc.)
ii) Test of General Awareness, Marketing & Computers
iii) Test of Data Analysis & Interpretation
iv) Test of Reasoning (High Level)
and a descriptive exam paper.

dont study from model or sample papers they are totally different from IT Papers, I have appeared 4 times for specialist officer. The questions are generally basic it requires strong foundation, and latest technology like, questions will not be from 3rd normal from or bcnf it will be of 5th normal form whose questions will not be in any book. go for previous papers and have a strong foundation. for previous papers go to
