no its not necessary to give IIT JEE...........it depends upon you, which college you want to get into.......if you wish to join IIT then you have to give this exam..........else you can directly apply for any private university on the basis of your marks in 12th.......

best wishes

You need to crack IIT JEE exam for any of the graduate courses in IIT. You can write aptitude exam, but final ranking is a composite score of JEE and Aptitude exam.

Hi,

Eligibility for writing Entrance test: Pass in +2 with 50% marks in Science

Entrance Exams for getting admission are conducted both at State Level and National Level.

CBSE conducts AIEEE for admission.
NATA conducts an online test for admission.

Admission at IIT's are guaranteed only through JEE/AIEEE.

But some private colleges give admission for B.Arch conducting their own entrance test. Do not loose hope, when there is a will, there is a way.
Your job is to find out which college at your place is offering B.Arch.

If interested, you can log on www.architectureaptitude.com at Bhopal which gives you tutorial online for appearing NATA

Previously, only clearing the JEE would make one eligible for the B.Arch Aptitude Tests

conducted by the individual IITs; but now, the Council of Architecture (COA) has made it

mandatory for B.Arch. aspirants to obtain valid NATA score for admission to 1st year of

5-year B.Arch. Degree Course at all COA-approved architectural institutions, including the

IITs. Therefore, you need to take the NATA or National Aptitude Test in Architecture (an

online examination conducted by the National Institute of Advanced Studies in

Architecture,Pune) if you are keen on appearing for the B.Arch Aptitude Exam. The NATA score

you obtain will remain valid for 2 years and in this time-span you can take the aptitude

test conducted by the individual Institutes.

Yes of course.

With out clearing IITJEE you cannot appear for it .

Infact Archtecture Aptitude test is conducts such that only after successful candidate of joint can appear for it.
only the qualified students declared in merit list are asked wheather they want to give arch. test or not .
there is a option for that in the councelling form for iit's

hope you will understand.

best of luck !!!!!

Well, dear your question seems to be incomplete...........!

You have'nt specify any point to analyse it.

However, if we take the overall things into account then definitely IITJEE takes lead.

But the points like- Applicant : Seat ratio, Toughness of the Entrance, Eligibility Criteria which in coming days soon will become much tougher for Normal students made AIEEE to lead IITJEE.

But overall from Reality/Professional point of View always IITJEE is better then AIEEE.

yes dear you must be a jee qualified student for this...that is getting arks equal to or more than cutoff . then you would be having an option to choose for it.
then you would have to give a separate exam regarding this...selection in that exam ensures a seat in architecture..........
