Can anybody say the pattern for written test in CTS?Whether it is need to concentrate more on Apptitude?

APTITUDE SECTION:

1. Venn Diagram – 4 Qs
2. Cube – 5 Qs
3. Data Sufficiency – 5 qs
4. Alphabetic Addition like - 3 Qs

5. Logical Statement Prediction

1. Verbal And Non Verbal Reasoning By R.S Agarwal
2. Analytical Reasoning By M.K.Pandey
3. Wren & Martin – Grammar book


TIPS:

1. Try to attempt all the Questions
2. No Upper Cut off
3. Time is the only rival. My advice is try to solve as quick as possible.
4. Don’t look your watch and put pressure on yourself
5. Don’t get Panic. There will some very easy questions amidst of complex questions..
6. Attempt Comprehension type question at last in Verbal section. It will be too big to read.

to get into CTS you need to clear the written and interview. to clear the written test you need to be cognizant in aptitude. CTS demands a good communication skills, so one should be good in english.

You have to perform well in Aptitude test and this generally includes Quantitative reasoning and Verbal reasoning.

You can prepare from quantitative reasoning by Dr. R.S.Agarwal and Shakuntala Devi.
These are the famous and reader friendly books written in crystal clear form for the easy understanding of the reader.

You have to improve your vocabulary and have to speed up your reading skills so that you can answer lengthy reading comprehension passages efficiently.

I have attended tcs campus exam
The paper pattern was the same as that of previous papers.
Just go through them it is enough and u have to be very fast in exam as the time will not be sufficient there r around 82 questions i dont remember exactly and u have to answer them in 90 min.

The written test in cts is aptitude test. It consists verbal,non verbal, reasoning, puzzles, maths numbers, data interpretation.

Cognizant Technology Solutions (CTS) is one of the IT giants worldwide and has a major presence in the country of India. CTS carries out recruitment drives in accredited colleges and recruits in bulk.


Exam pattern:

The recruitment process is done via a three stage process. The first is the Aptitude test, secondly the Technical interview and then the HR interview. The Aptitude test consists of three sections out of which the section of Reasoning is an important one and requires active state of mind.

Reasoning section in CTS Aptitude exam:

The concepts covered in the Reasoning section are as follows:

=> Odd one out
=> Logical Arguments


Duration of reasoning section in CTS Aptitude exam:

The whole paper is of 70 minutes of duration and contains 70 questions. It is advised not to spend more than one minute on a question. The duration advised to the Reasoning section is 20 minutes and contains 20 questions

Scoring pattern:

Candidates are awarded full marks of that specific question if the answer is correct. For every wrong answer one-fourth of the marks assigned to that question get deducted.
