SYNTEL EXAM PATTERN

This selection is done in two rounds.

1.Written Exam:
In written examination there are 3 sections

Section I – Verbal – 25 questions – 15 Minutes

Section II – Quantitative Aptitude – 30 questions – 45 Minutes

Section III – Logical Reasoning – 30 questions – 30 Minutes

Total 85 questions – 90 Minutes

2.Interview
Candidate who qualify in the written examination are called for the
interview test. In interview mainly technical questions are asked to
to the candidate based on C/C++, JAVA etc.

The SYNTEL group conducts campus recruitment in various colleges across India.

The pattern of placement is as follows:

The recruitment procedure consists of 3 rounds and you have to clear all 3 to get through.

Round 1:Online Exam

Round 2:Technical Round(For those who clear the exam).

Round 3:HR-Interview(For Short Listed Candidates).


The Online Test comprises of questions mainly from the following topics:

1.General Aptitude
2.Verbal Ability
3.Logical Reasoning.


The technical rounds consists of question related to core subjects such as C/C++,Java,DBMS,Software Engineering,etc..

The HR round will mainly consist of personal question to test the confidence in the candidate.

Placement paper

Written test
the placement paper consists of 2 sections:-
1.Reasoning 25 questions (cuttoff 13or 11):It consisted of blood relations ,assertion reason, Coding Decoding, etc. CODING DECODING WAS REALIY TOUGH

2. English 15 questions (cutt off-8 or 6) Paper is continous .Common answer sheet 5 options.Fill in the blanks with appropriate words. Find the grammatical error in the sentence.and Analogy

The results were declared at 5:30pm. Around 950 students attended the written test and 108 were selected for interview. The interview started the same day

Interview
It consisted of HR and Technical combined HR questions
Q. what is Ur family background?
Q. Tell me about yourself?
Q. what does sucess mean to u?
Q. what is ur favorite subject?

So these are the recruitment procedure for the SYNTEL.
