The IBPS PO exam consist of two papers out of which one paper is objective type and other is descriptive type paper Objective type paper The paper is divided into 5 sections - Reasoning, Quantitative aptitude , English language, computer knowledge and general awareness (with special reference to the banking industry) Each sections will consist of 50 questions which means there is are a total of 250 questions. And each section is of 50 marks except the english language sections which is of 25 marks The total weightage of the objective paper is 225 marks and time alloted is 2.5 hours. Descriptive paper It is an English composition paper which tests the skills of the candidate in essay, precis and letter writing etc. The time allotted for this paper is 60 minutes. |
