A candidate can appear for the GATE(Graduation Aptitude Test in Engineering) if :-

>> candidate is a final year B.E/B.Tech student or has already completed degree in any stream from a recognized University..

>> candidates from dual degree as well as M.Sc. are also eligible to appear for GATE..
