I wanted to become an Air Hostess. So, which stream should I opt in Intermediate? Or, can I apply directly on the basis of 10th Board exam? If yes, then let me know how can I apply for Air Hostess in Indigo, Vistara and Jet Airways?

No, you cannot apply for Air hostess post with just 10th qualification. Now, as per DGCA rules, you should have passed/completed at least 10+2 (in any stream) to be eligible for becoming Air Hostess.

So, in Intermediate, you can opt for any stream i.e. Commerce, Arts or Science as per your interest in the subjects.

Apart from academic qualifications, you must ensure that you have:

• Indian Passport
• Age below 25 years
• Minimum height is 157.5 cms
• Unmarried with normal eyesight of 6/6
• Fluency in English/Hindi

If you possess above things, then you can apply for Air Hostess training in private institutes (like Frankfinn, Global Aviation, etc.). These Air Hostess training companies have different training packages ranging around 80k (1 year) as per their duration.

At the end of your training courses, you will be recruited by Airline companies like Indigo, Spicejet, GoAir, Air India, etc.
