Hello Sir/Mam, Procedure to apply for Bank manager job after completion of BCA graduation? What should be the minimum criteria and skills required for this? Is it possible to get the job just after the graduation or need to complete some extra course?

Bank Manager is a highly responsible designation in a Bank which will not be offered to Freshers who do not have any Banking experience.

Bank Managers are responsible for
-inflow and outflow of money from that branch
-to achieve the targets assigned to the branch
-for the performance of the branch
-to provide better service for the customers etc.

One should have good amount of experience in various roles in the Bank. Experience in the sense top performance should be shown.

Generally it would take minimum 10 years experience for a candidate to become a Bank Manger after joining in Bank.

There are people who may not get opportunity to get Manager job and end up in retiring in regular roles.

Hence I would suggest you to make a entry into the Bank as a Probationary Officer by cracking IBPS PO Exam.

In order to be eligible to apply for this Exam, you should have completed your Graduation from a recognized university and you should be in the age group of 20-30 years.

Relaxation is there in upper age limit upto 3 years for the candidates of OBC category and upto 5 years for the candidates of SC/ST category.

Written Exam would be in 2 levels
-Preliminary Exam
-Main Exam

Yes, you can apply for banking related jobs after completion of BCA.

Public sector banks does recruitment based on the common entrance exam conducted by IBPS, Institute of Banking Personnel Selection - www.ibps.in.

Generally for the selection process it contains two rounds,
1. Written test
2. Interview round

After completion of written test, if you score well and got qualified you will be called for personal interview. If you clear it, you will be selected for that position.

Positions can be clerk, probationary officer, specialist officer.

Eligibility criteria of Clerk:
1. Citizen of India
2. Age: 18 - 28 years
3. +2 with 60% or more marks
4. Salary: 1.4L

Eligibility criteria of P.O:
1. Citizen of India
2. Age: 21 - 30 years
3. Percentage required varies depends upon bank
4. Salary: 2L

You are not eligible for recruitment as Manager after completion of BCA. BCA stands for Bachelor in Computer Application and it is three year duration course.

Candidates will be eligible for recruitment only after proper banking job experience. So, you first have to appear in examination for recruitment as Clerk and PO.

The age limit varies with examination. So, you need to prepare for these examination.
