Sir/Mam, Can you please guide me the procedure which I need to follow to apply for the improvement exam for 12th standard? Where to get the form and when to apply for it? Can you please give me the details soon as possible? Thank you!

You need to follow this procedure:

Visit the official website for your school board improvement form.

Enter roll number in the first text box, which you had in the board exams.

Enter your 5 digit school number in the second text box. In case, you appear as a private candidate and don't have a school number then you have to enter 99999.

Click on proceed to make the payment online.

Upload your scanned Colour photo and scanned copy of bank challan, see the details given above.

Note down your application number and roll number.

Check your fee status if the transaction has been completed.

Make sure a candidate cannot appear for improvement exams in the subject he or she has failed.

You can get the form and dates of improvement exam for 12th in your school itself. Hence, you should visit your school in regard to when the forms will be available. Generally they are available in May-June mid after the 12th exams and during Oct-Nov, but it is always best to get information prior from your respective school.

Improvement Exam is conducted for only passed candidates who wish to re-appear for the exam so that they can improve their overall percentage.

As you are not passed in Maths, so you will not be allowed to appear for Improvement Exam until your Maths is cleared.

Firstly you need to appear for Maths Compartment exam next year. Then, after clearing it you can appear for Improvement exam.

You can get forms of Compartment Exam from nearest CBSE Regional Office.

Yes, you are eligible for JEE Main Exam. You should apply for JEE Main as an appearing candidate of 12th.
