To become an LIC Agent, you must fulfill following requirements.
Your age should be at least 18 years. Good communication skills. You will have to visit nearby LIC Office and there your interview will be taken by Branch manager. If you qualify interview, then you will undergo training that will be conducted by Divisional/Agency Training Center. In training session, you will have to complete training of 50 hours. Re: Procedure to become an LIC Agent for a Pharmacist?
LIC stands for Life Insurance Corporation of India. LIC is the leading Insurance Company which provides number of job opportunities.
It is so easy to become a LIC Agent. Here is the required eligibility criteria. -The candidate should be citizen of India -The candidate should have completed SSC. -Minimum age criteria for the candidate is 18 years. I would suggest you to visit the Development Officer in your nearest LIC branch. The BM of the branch will do a formal Interview to assess your capability. Post his confirmation, you need to undergo a Training for a minimum of 50 hrs (around 10 days). After that you need to appear for IRDA Exam and qualify in the Exam. Once you will get through the Exam, you will be given License as LIC Agent and branch code will be allocated. Being a Pharmacist, I don't think it is a good choice for you. Because LIC Agent is not an easy job. You have to meet the people and get the business from them. Since there are so many LIC Agents in the market, competition is very high. My suggestion is to go for Pharma jobs instead of opting for LIC Agent. |
