Sir, my daughter's name studying in class 6th is registered with surname in school records. Whereas her birth certificate and Aadhar details have no surname. Can it be amended locally with the help of certificates or I have to go through local newspaper and Gazette notification?

If you want to correction in the school certificate then it can be done on the basis of birth certificate as well as Aadhar card but if you want the correction to be made in the birth certificate and aadhar details then you will have to go through gazette notification.
