I did my BE in Production Engineering. Is it equal to Mechanical Engineering? Can I get any recommendation certificate from BTR University or any other University?

The production engineering is almost equivalent to mechanical engineering. But being a mechanical engineering degree holder you can apply for the jobs in production plants as well as plants where mechanical maintenance engineer is required.

The scope of mechanical engineering is more than the scope of production engineering.

In nutshell, mechanical engineering is better to choose over production engineering.

If you have pursued your graduation from BTR university then definitely you will get the recommendation certificate from the university depending up to your performance during your academics.
