The full name of SRM university is Sri Ramaswamy Memorial University. It has five campuses which are situated in :-

1. Kattankulathur Campus, Chennai
2. Ramapuram Campus, Chennai
3. Vadapalani Campus, Chennai
4. Modinagar Campus, Delhi NCR Region
5. Irungalur Campus, Trichy

SRM Engineering Entrance Exam is conducted by SRM university for the admission of candidates in various under graduate courses in Engineering. You can take admission in SRM university on the basis of rank scored in SRMEEE. SRM university is a deemed university. It has 5 campuses in India. You can take admission in any of the campus. But in order to get admission in its chennai campus you have to score good rank. You must scored rank under 5000 for getting admission in its chennai campus.

Student with any rank can get admission in SRM university as it has thousands of seats and its various seats remain vacant after counselling. It sells its seats on the basis of management quota. This university is based on donation. You can also take admission in SRM university through donation. But those candidates who have scored good rank in SRMEEE don't need to give donation but who have scored less rank and want to get admission have to give some donation for getting admission in good branch.
