I am doing i.t. Engineering 3rd year. So i want to prepare for RAS 2015,what is the pattern of exam and what books are recommended,please reply.

Rajasthan Public Service Commission conducts exam for recruitment of Rajasthan Administrative Services (RAS).This exam held in two stages Preliminary and Main. Those candidate who qualify in the preliminary exam then they can appear in the main exam.

To apply for RAS exam candidate should have graduate degree in any discipline from recognized university.Age should be between 18 to 35 years.

There is two paper in pre exam. General Knowledge & General Science Paper is 200 marks and 150 questions. Paper second is optional subjects for anyone with 200 marks & 150 question.

Written exam is multiple choice objective type. There will also be negative marking of 1/3 marks for each wrong answer. Duration of Test is Three hours.
