SUB INSPECTOR

Candidate should be graduate degree from recognise university.

Age of candidate must be minimum 20 and maximum 25 years.Relaxation for sc/st/obc in upper age limit.

Physical ability is also must.

Height is Minimum 170 Cms and Chest is Minimum 81 to 85 cms.

Both eyes should have a vision 6/12 (without glasses). and not any relaxation is allowed to non genral candidates.

Physical test-Candidates have to complete 1600 mtrs Race in 6 minutes to qualify.

Exam pattern- There are two papers in the exam.

1. Paper I
a. General Intelligence and Reasoning
b.General Awareness
c.Numerical Ability

2. Paper II
a. Hindi Language - 100 Marks
b. English Language - 100 Marks

Required qualification to become SI are :
1. Cheat = 79-84cm
2. Height = 168cm
3. 6/6 or 6/9 for distant vision.
Since, these are the academic qualification, you must have these qualifications to become an SI.

exams is conducted by different states police in there own
qualification: graduation
age limit:21-25 years(relaxable for reseved categories

The sub-inspector (S.I.) post in the police department in every state of India
is conducted by the respective state governments. The requirements for the post of S.I. are as follows
01 EDUCATION:-
Must be a Graduate from the recognised university

02. AGE:-
The age of the candidate must be greater than 18 and less than 26 (age relaxations are available for SC/ST).

03. PHYSICAL FITNESS:-

* Should be mentally and physically fit
* Height should be greater then 165 cm (it varies from state to state like in north eastern regions its less).
* Eye sight should be 6/6 (no spectacles)
04. SELECTION PROCEDURE:-

Generally there will be preliminary exam i.e. written exam consisting of aptitude. general awareness, intelligence, decision skills etc.

05. PHYSICAL FITNESS TEST:-

After the candidate qualifies preliminary test the candidate needs to attend physical fitness test consisting of
* 5 km running in 25 minues
* Push ups
* Chin ups
* Long jump
* Short jump
* Rope Climbing
it will be followed by an interview in general (the selection procedure may slightly vary from state to state)

To become Sub Inspector you must first apply for the SI exam

This exam is conducted by STAFF SELECTION COMMISSION

And you must have a Graduation from a Recognized university

You must have minimum of 20 years

And you must be an INDIAN CITIZEN

The maximum age is allowed up to 27 years
