IFS Stands for Indian Forest Service Examination and this examination was Conducted by UPSC Every year, For this year IFS Examination was Already Completed, And If you are Interested in this examination then please apply for IFS Examination next year.

IFS exams is conducted by UPSC exam.

1) Educational Qualifications :

You need to have any Bachelor's Degree with at-lest any of the following subjects in your Degree level (Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology )
Or
a Bachelor's degree in Forestry or in Engineering or Agriculture or any Equivalent Exam.

2) Age limits :

your Age must be in between 21 to 30 years of Age, i think you must be having in between them.

Indian Fores Service exam is conducted by UPSC every year once.This exam is conducted to intake skilled candidate for Forest Department.

For IFS exam or Indian Forest Service, you need to fulfill these following conditions

1) You need to be a graduate from a recognized college..

2) you should be within the age limit of 21-30 years for general category,
for OBC it is 21-33 years and for SC/ST it is 21-35 years..

the maximum number of attempts for General category is 4
for OBC it is 7
and for SC/ST there is no restriction on the number of attempts,they can give the exam till the time their age limit is satisfied..

If you get selected then for foundation training you will be sent to the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy and then for specialized training to Indira Gandhi National Forest Academy, Dehradun.
