Indian Fores Service exam is conducted by UPSC every year once.This exam is conducted to intake skilled candidate for Forest Department.
Eligibility criteria for Indian Forest Service examination: Education qualification:Candidate should have completed graduation degree with at least one of the subjects like Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering or an equivalent qualification Age limit:Age should be between 21 to 30 years. Indian Forest Service Examination (IFS) examination is conducted by UPSC every year generally June-July every year.So,exam of this year ready completed, ,so,try next year.
General Qualification for the Exam: Nationality: you should be either : a citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal, or a subject of Bhutan, a Tibetan refugee Educational Qualifications: you should hold a Bachelor’s degree with at least any one of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering. Age Limits: you should be the age of 21 years and not more than 30 years in the examination year. Number of attempts: General candidates can apply 4 times and 7 times gor SC/ST. sir,i am proposing only a suggestion.IFS examination should be made strictly on the basis of veterinary&animal husbandry degree/botony/zoology/forest management&engineering degee or adegree any biological related subjects.

IFS - Indian Forest Service, to become an IFS officer one has to crack Civil Service Exam conducted by UPSC every year.
The eligible candidate must be an Indian National having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass fro Science stream with Botany and Zoology as subject of studies from a recognised University within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate with good Physical Fitness. As far as Required Qualification for IFS Exam stands for Indian Forest Service exam is concern for that The candidate must hold a Bachelor¡¯s degree with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science , Botany , Chemistry, Geology , Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor¡¯s degree in Agriculture , Forestry or in Engineering of any of Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section-3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or possesses anequivalent qualification Good Luck.... |

IFS is Indian Forest Services . UPSC conducts examination for recruiting IFS officers every year.
Eligibility Criteria for IFS Exam: -Graduation in any of the following subjects from a recognised University. Agriculture Forestry Zoology Botany Veterinary Sciences Geology Biochemistry Chemistry Maths Statistics Engineering Age Criteria : Age should be between 21 to 30 years if you are General Category. There is age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC Category. Examination Pattern: The first stage will be Objective Type paper and after that mains exam which will be both objective and descriptive in nature. Then Personal Interview will be conducted.
