Requirements to study distance GNM for ANM Nursing holder?


Respected Sir/Madam, I have completed my ANM Nursing course. Now, I am interested to do GNM through distance education. Can you please let me know about the requirements to do this GNM course through distance education?

GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery Nursing) is a diploma course having three and a half year course which includes both theoretical and practical training. After completion of ANM Nursing, You are eligible to apply for GNM Nursing course in distance mode.

Eligibility for GNM Course
- You must have passed (10+2) with English as the compulsory subject and must have secured 40% in aggregate in Vocational ANM course from any Indian Nursing Council-recognized institute.
- Some instructions offer the GNM course admission based on entrance exam.

2) Madhya Pradesh Bhoj Open University
3) Ayurkshethra Ayurveda Nursing College
4) Sikkim Manipal University
5) Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University (BRAOU)
6) Annamalai University Directorate of Distance Education
7) Karnataka State Open University
8) Bharathiar University School of Distance Education
9) Uttarakhand Open University
10) Tamil Nadu Open University
11) Nalanda Open University

After completing the GNM Nursing course, you can work in registered nurses in various healthcare settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, clinics, and community health centers. You can also pursue higher education in nursing, such as a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSc Nursing) or a Master of Science in Nursing (MSc Nursing).
