What is the scope of mtech course if i do it in state engineering colleges other than IIT s and NIT s . Basically i am from karnataka

hi dear ,, i dont know which branch you are,,

but commonly after your m.tech , you can get any lecturer job in any college or university.. b.tech qualification is enough working in company

so better you can try for job after that

There are many excellent college offering M.tech courses other than NIT’s and IIT’s. It is a misconception that only students from NIT’s and IIT’s get good placement. M.Tech students from any good university are given equal consideration when it comes to placement. End of the day, student’s caliber and potential is the only thing that matters in career development.

the M.Tech degrees are valuable if they are done fromIITS and NITs, it gives you on campus job chances and future chances of coming in the teaching profession in various Engineering institutes. Otherwise they are of much less value. You may get a job but in most caese, they become personal accolades than anything else

in which department i appear in gate exam????? i have done b.tech in marine engg.

There are good career options after M.Tech even if it is not done from NIT's or IIT's , I am giving you some example,
Over 70 nuclear power plants to be built over the next 15 years and over 40 reactors are under construction in 20 countries currently
Most of the Govt sectors, Advanced Technological(ISRO) etc, ask for MTech or ME graduates, since they feel these people are more resourceful than the normal BTech or BE graduates.

After M.Tech you can also go for Phd or can go for the job of Lecturer.

My friend it does not matter that from where you are pursuing your m.tech course, the main thing is your performance in m.tech course..

This is not wright that only IIT's and NIT's are good to pursue the m.tech course, there are lots of colleges those are also good to pursue m.tech course..
They also provide huge campusing after the M.tech course..

See, it is true that IIT's and NIT's are the best, but not the only one..
So, my friend don't bother about the college , if you wants to pursue the m.tech then go for it..
Your determination, your hard work matters the most..
Perform well during the m.tech course , you will definitely get a good job after completion of M.tech..

M.Tech is a very high end course and it requires very fine quality and standard of faculties.

The IIT's and the NIT's across the country are amongst the best to offer this course. Yeah some of the privates also like :

BITS
SRMEE
VIT
Manipal
Thapar
etc

are also good because they have a lot of money to offer to the faculty and lecturers and so they attract quality from all over the country.

However, if you cannot get admission to any of these colleges, then doing M.Tech would not be of much use as id would fail to impart any quality knowledge and education in you.

You should rather opt for doing M.Tech from any foreign university then.

Sir, i got 31.33 marks in gate with information technology branch,so please tell me the valid government colleges.

After doing M.tech other than IIT's or NIT's you may be get job in good companies because some copmpanies preffered m.tech over b.tech because they are more useful. You can also get get teaching job in the universities as a assistant proffesor.

After completing mtech in cs whether I get jobs in companies which offering jobs after btech.
