SET is compulsory for candidates who aspire to become a lecturer in any government college and university. Maharashtra SET entrance test consists of 3 papers
Part 1 is the general paper on Teaching & Research Aptitude. Part II & Part III includes post graduate level subjects in objective type and long & short answer type questions.
Many authors have published excellent books relating to this topic. It is advisable to follow a SET guide and prepare for the exam. Some of the renowned authors are Upkar Prakashan, GK Publisher or S.Chand publications. These books also have previous years question paper with its corresponding answer key.
