Hello everyone, I am studying BCom course. After completing my Graduation, I want to join Indian Army. I would like to know that what steps are there which I should follow to join Indian Army? Please help me in this regard.

After graduation, you can join Indian Army through CDS exam that is conducted by UPSC.

Upcoming CDS Exam will be conducted on February 3, 2019.
Registration of CDS exam will be done between 31 October 2018 and 26 November, 2018.

You can apply for CDS Exam through UPSC Online portal site i.e. https://upsconline.nic.in

Your age must be at least 19 years to be eligible for this exam.

Following number of 417 posts will be filled through CDS Exam.

• 100 for the Indian Military Academy, Dehradun
• 45 for Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala
• 32 posts for Air Force Academy, Hyderabad
• 225 posts for Officers’ Training Academy, Chennai
• 15 posts for Officers Training Academy, Chennai-25th SSC Women (NT) course

For joining Indian Military Academy (IMA), your age must be between 19-24 years and unmarried.

Following stages will be there to crack CDS Exam:

• Written Test
• SSB Interview (will include Running, Pushups, Chin ups, Rope Climbing, Height Weight standards, etc.)
