Re: Which subject to choose in BSc Final Year? Maths, physics, chemistry?
you must choose that subject in which you think that you are having some interest and can take good marks because without interest, you will find difficulties in every subject. so think yourself what you want to take.

Hi!
All the 3 subjects viz. maths, physics & chemistry are good options & you can choose anyone of them depending upon your interest & the subjects you have studied in BSc. 1st & 2nd year. You can select maths if you like playing with numbers & if you are comfortable with mathematical formulas & numbers. You can select chemistry if you are interested in chemical reactions & likes studying molecules & atoms. Finally you can also select physics if you like this subject more than the other 2 subjects. |

Re: Which subject to choose in BSc Final Year? Maths, physics, chemistry?
hi Saurabh,
Though, your question is not clear still i want to say that you should not be confused at this stage. As you are from science background and in 2nd year of B.Sc now,you must know which subject you are most comfortable with. All these three subjects are equally interesting subjects. The liking varies from student to student though. Just take the subject you like the best! Good luck! |

There are options in all the three fields but that depends how you explore it. One can find opportunity in some field only if he/she take interest into it. It can never be said directly to choose a particular subject without h=knowing one's interest. If you are willing to go for research in chemical industry then go for chemistry. If you are dreaming about working with hardcore engineering things and have interest in higher studies go for physics. It can lead you to all DRDO,ISRo etc if you take much of interest. If you are willing to cast your career in the field of statistics, solving data and other mathematical computational techniques then math would be the best choice. So, its all depend on your choice and the future you see for yourself. Your further reply will help me better to help you. Thanks |

Re: Which subject to choose in BSc Final Year? Maths, physics, chemistry?
Generally, when taking admission to Degree course itself, the specialization subject will be decided.
Which stream are you doing B.Sc.? Maths, Physics, Chemistry or Biology? I can't understand how are you given the choice of selecting the subject at Final Year? Alternatively, go for an Aptitude test in your area, and find out your Numerical Ability values. If you are very good in NA scores, then go for Maths otherwise, go for science. |

I would suggest you to take maths because usually in most Bsc colleges students prefer chemistry due to which the no of students in chemistry are increasing consecutively.Maths is little bit tough so students don't prefer it hence i have suggested you maths so that you can be different from others. OK All the best. |

Re: Which subject to choose in BSc Final Year? Maths, physics, chemistry?
Subject choice should depend on your interest and what career are you looking at in future....Each of these subjects is good/bad in its own sense....Kindly reflect on your interest and marks you have secured in these subjects in the past...Also if given a chance to read or do research which among the above areas would you choose...All this will help in identifying subject of your interest and choose the same...

Re: Which subject to choose in BSc Final Year? Maths, physics, chemistry?
every subject you have specified has a good scope in its future so there is nothing like a bad option kind of thing.
the choice of taking the subject solely depends upon your understanding of the subject and your interest in that. choose the subject which you are more interested in and which you understand more than other subjects. good luck |

Re: Which subject to choose in BSc Final Year? Maths, physics, chemistry?
Hello,
Instead of asking others to choose a subject it would be good if you ask yourself the same. First of all ask yourself, which subject is of your interest maths physics or chemistry. If you are more interested in maths, then there would be no point in taking physics or chemistry as you would keep on thinking that if i took maths, then it would be better. Next see in which subject you have scored the most, maybe that would even solve the first question. Also, you can ask you lecturers that which subject you are strong in and have a strong hold on the concept. This will help you realizing in which subject you have a strong hold and hence, select the same. Good Luck!! |

Hello Saurabh
Better to go for the subjects in which you have interest,do not be confused and and choose according to your interest.. I think you must have interest in mathematics so better for you can take maths or also you can take physics. So always go acording to the interest. Al the best.. |
