General Intelligence & Reasoning : It would include questions of both verbal and non-verbal type. This component may include questions on analogies, similarities and differences, space visualization, spatial orientation, problem solving, analysis, judgement, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning and figural classification, arithmetic number series, non-verbal series, coding and decoding, statement conclusion, syllogistic reasoning etc. The topics are, Semantic Analogy, Symbolic/Number Analogy, Figural Analogy, Semantic Classification, Symbolic/Number Classification, Figural Classification, Semantic Series, Number Series, Figural Series, Problem Solving, Word Building, Coding & de-coding, Numerical Operations, symbolic Operations, Trends,Space Orientation, Space Visualization, Venn Diagrams, Drawing inferences, Punched hole/pattern ¨Cfolding & un-folding, Figural Pattern ¨C folding and completion, Indexing, Address matching, Date & city matching, Classification of centre codes/roll numbers, Small & Capital letters/numbers coding, decodingand classification, Embedded Figures, Critical thinking, Emotional Intelligence, Social Intelligence, Other sub-topics, if any.

Staff Selection Commission conducted the Combined Graduate Level (Tier-I) Examination, 2011 on 19.6.2011 and 26.6.2011 all over the country. The candidates who successfully clear the same are eligible for SSC Combined Graduate Level (Tier-II) Exam 2011. To get complete information about the Combined Graduate Level (Tier-II) Exam 2011 please read the following article.



Staff Selection Commission is going to conduct the SSC Combined Graduate Level (Tier-II) Exam 2011 for the Candidates who have qualified in Tier- I examination on 3rd September,2011 (Paper-III) & 4th September, 2011(Paper-I & II).

SSC Combined Graduate Level (Tier-II) Exam 2011 admit cards
SSC has already started to dispatch the Admit card for Tier – II exam, who do not receive the Admission ticket for the Tier-II examination ten days before the examination date should immediately thereafter contact the respective Regional Office of the Commission.

SSC Combined Graduate Level (Tier-II) Exam 2011 syllabus
Paper-I: Arithmetic Ability

Paper-II: English Language & Comprehension

Paper-III: Statistics for Investigator Grade-II, for Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation & Compiler for RGI

release date for reciept of aapplications tier 1 :23rd march
last date for reciept of aapplications tier 1 : 20th april
examination date : 1st & 8th july
