I am little old and so wanted to know if there is any age restriction for Secondary School Leaving Certificate (commonly referred to as SSLC) or not? Any reservation or relaxation for any caste category candidates?

The minimum age required for the candidate to appear in SSLC examination is 14 years as on 1st of the month of the year of examination. However, there is no upper limit of age to appear in the exam. But there is maximum number of attempts to appear in the exam.

There is no age criteria to appear for the SSLC examination as per notification from any recognised board.

The age criteria is determined by the Directorate of State Education for the students of the respective state to appear for the examination.

For detail information contact your school.

Hi,
There is no maximum age limit.
But minimum age is mentioned as 14 Years.
Education is not giving any restriction, at any age we can go to studies, only thing is our interest and willingness.
