Hey friend,

There is no career for Girls to join in Navy after passing 10th.

For joining in Indian Navy you need to write the entrance exams and as regarding that you need to satisfy the eligibility criteria for the exams.

There are many exams which are conducted in India for joining in Indian Navy and as regarding that you are ineligible for joining in Indian Navy

The minimum qualification needed for joining in Indian Navy is that the candidate must have completed +2 with physics and mathematics as subjects.

There is no need of specific percentage requirement in 10th for joining in Indian Navy.

After your 10th you need to do complete till your +2 with PCM as subject.

Even you can't write the NDA exam after completing +2 as only unmarried male candidates are eligible for the NDA Exam


So,you need to finish your graduation and then apply for the entrance exams so that you can join in Indian Navy.

Sorry to say this friend you are not eligible for Navy, because the minimum education qualification for girls to join in navy is graduation.

So after 10th standard you are not eligible for indian navy.

After completion of your graduation you are eligible for CDS(Combined Defence Service) exam. UPSC conducting this exam every year two times i.e CDS-I and CDS-II.


Eligibility criteria:-

The candidate should be complete graduation in any stream from a recognised university.

Percentage is not important to apply this exam.

You must be an indian origin.

Male and Female candidates both are eligible for this exam.

The candidate must be physically fit.

Age criteria:-

The age limits for Indian Naval academy 19 to 22years,

For Airforce academy 19 to 23 years,

For Military academy 19 to 24 years,

For Officer Training Academy 19 to 25 years.


Selection process:-

Written test,

Personal interview,

Medical test.

Girls can’t join Indian Navy after 10th or 10+2. Hence you have to complete Graduation if you are a girl and want to join Indian Navy.

You can join Indian Navy after doing Graduation in Engineering or physics or maths from a recognised university through CDS examination.

The age limit for Indian Naval Academy is 19 to 22 years through CDS examination.

So if you have passed 10th then opt for physics, chemistry and maths in 10+2 and after doing 10+2 go for Graduation in engineering or maths or physics if you want to join Indian Navy.

The CDS examination will have Objective Type paper, SSB Interview and Medical Examination.

Those who are high on merit after the whole procedure will be selected for Indian Naval Academy Training.
