Is there any need to lodge FIR for lost educational certificates? How to get them back?

Hi Sir, one of my friend lost her SSC, Inter, Degree certificates and even though she doesn't have Xerox copies and she forgot roll number and registration IDs. So, please tell me how to get certificates back? What should I do? Do I need to file FIR for lost certificates?

In this case you have 2 options:

1) Get a F.I.R done about the lost educational certificates.

2) Get a affidavit mentioning the loss of all certificates, get them stamped by notary.

Once you have done this, after that you have to visit the respective board center/ university and ask for the duplicate mark sheet/ certificate.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
