Re: Is there any reservation in NEET exam for Defense person's child?
There are around 20 seats in MBBS reserved for wards of Defence persons. Depending upon performance of candidate in NEET exam and priority of father in Defence, admission is given to candidates in MBBS.
For example, priority I is for ward of defence personnel killed in war. For more details, you can visit Click Here . |

Re: Is there any reservation in NEET exam for Defense person's child?
NEET refers to National Eligibility cum Entrance Test and same examination is held for offering admission in undergraduate medical degree course in any medical college of India except AIIMS and JIPMER.
As far as you are concerned about the provision of reservation or relaxation for wards of defense personnel in case of NEET then for your information I would like to let you know that there is no special provision for defense personnel wards in case of NEET eligibilility or NEET qualification marks. But, I would like to let you know that admission in medical colleges for defense personnel wards like AFMC ( Armed Forces Medical College ), ACMS ( Army College of Medical Science ),etc. is based on the marks in NEET only. For detailed information regarding NEET and counselling procedure for admission based on NEET score you can go through the notification released for NEET by downloading it from the link www.cbseneet.nic.in. |

NEET is conducted for admission in medical course after 12th std.
The entrance examination is conducted by CBSE. Yes, there are few seats reserved for candidates of defense personnel but only after qualifying in NEET examination and satisfy the priority level. The more priority is given to candidates who fall under the priority I. To get more information about admission through defence quota visit at http://www.ksb.gov.in. |

Re: Is there any reservation in NEET exam for Defense person's child?
NEET stands for National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education but now it is replaced by All India Pre Medical Test for admission into the courses of MBBS or BDS.
You must have done 10+2 from a recognized board to apply for this exam and your subject combination must include Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The minimum age limit is 17 years on the 31st December of year of admission. No there is no direct reservation for Defense Person's child in NEET. But child of Defense Person if he/she has qualified NEET, needs to apply from Sainik quota and generally on the priority of your defense in job and marks in NEET, a candidate is given a seat in medical colleges under NEET. |
