Re: Is there any scope in Instrumentation Engineering in future or should I go for IT engineering?
You can pursue any of these courses in engineering stream. Both of these courses have ample scope for job opportunities. In case of instrumentation you have opportunities in power plants, oil and gas and in pharmaceutical companies etc. Hence you can try for jobs in government companies such as IOCL, IOL, etc. Where as IT engineering has also high scope in various governments IT companies. Please choose the course according to your area of interest.

Quote:
There is lot of scope for Instrumentation Engineers. Instrumentation engineers are required in all process plants and units like pharmaceuticals, chemicals, fertilizers, rubber, steel, pesticides, chemicals, organics ,paints etc. They are responsible for mainatainence and solve troubleshootings of various instrumentation components and systems like actuators, control valves. And there are lot of public and private sector companies operating in the above mentioned industrial sectors. So you don't have to worry for a job. Or you can also go for IT engineering. There is a lots govt. Jobs & MNC's Jobs throughout the world. In my point of view you should prefer Information Technology Engg. has a very bright future. All The Best!!! Regards @BRIJESH@ |
