Is there any separate NEET exam which includes maths in it?
I heard that Neet is of two types, one is which includes only PCB & another is which includes PCMB.Is that true? If NEET includes only PCB then is it not useful for the students who are aiming for engineering to appear for NEET? Awaiting for your response.

Re: Is there any separate NEET exam which includes maths in it?
NEET ( National Eligibility Entrance Test ) is conducted by CBSE for admission in MBBS, BDS courses.
There is single NEET examination. The eligibility to appear in examination is candidate must have passed or appearing for 12th board examination with PCB as main paper. The required minimum aggregate to appear is 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. No, the examination is not for candidates who are interested in getting admission in engineering courses. For admission in engineering course you have to appear and qualify in JEE ( Joint Entrance Examination ). For more information about NEET examination visit at www.cbseneet.nic.in. |

Re: Is there any separate NEET exam which includes maths in it?
This is not true. National Eligibility cum Entrance Test is a competitive exam conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education for admission in MBBS and BDS course.
Eligibility criteria for NEET examination: Academic qualification: Candidate must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology. You should have at least 50% marks in 10+2. Candidates without Biology can not apply for NEET exam for MBBS and BDS course. |

Re: Is there any separate NEET exam which includes maths in it?
According to the eligibility criteria only those candidates are eligible to appear in NEET exam who have completed their 12th standard with PCB from a recognised board with minimum 50% marks. Students who have studied mathematics in their 12th standard are not eligible to appear in this entrance exam because this is a medical entrance exam.

Re: Is there any separate NEET exam which includes maths in it?
NEET refers to National Eligibility Entrance Test and same is a national level medical entrance examination held for offering admission in MBBS or BDS degree course in any medical college across India except from AIIMS.
Further the minimum educational qualification required for appearing in NEET is a higher secondary school degree with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as main subjects with at least 50% ( or 40% for reserved category candidates ) from a recognized board of education. Now as far as you are concerned about being of two types i.e; one for PCB candidates and PCMB group candidates then it is completely wrong and NEET is just a single examination which can offer admission in MBBS or BDS degree only and there is no scope for engineering through NEET. For more details regarding NEET you can refer to its official link i.e; www.cbseneet.nic.in. |

Re: Is there any separate NEET exam which includes maths in it?
Let me tell you that NEET is a medical entrance exam which is conducted for medical students who want to pursue either MBBS or BDS course but maths is a subject of NEET entrance exam. So non medical students are not eligible for this.

Re: Is there any separate NEET exam which includes maths in it?
NEET is conducted only for medical students who are willing to get admission in reputed Medical institutes of India.
If you are willing to get admission in engineering colleges, then you must apply for JEE Main Exam that is conducted by CBSE. JEE Main is gateway to NITs, IIITs and other CFIs. After qualifying JEE Main exam, you can appear for JEE Advanced Exam. JEE Advanced exam is jointly conducted by IITs for admission to IIts, ISM Dhanbad and IT BHU. |

No, NEET examination contains question of mathematics paper. Candidates who have passed or appearing for 12th board examination with PCB as main paper are eligible to appear in examination.
The examination is conducted by CBSE. It is national level examination conducted every year for admission in government and private colleges. The engineering and medical courses are two different courses and one preparing for NEET examination will not be get benefit of pursuing mathematics paper. Re: Is there any separate NEET exam which includes maths in it?
NEET stands for National Eligibility Entrance Test.
No,It's not true. NEET exam includes only PCB(Physics, Chemistry, Biology). Students will either have to choose Biology and Mathematics as per their educational background and choice. Maths won't be compulsory for Biology students at all. Minimum 50% marks in 12th for general candidate. |

Re: Is there any separate NEET exam which includes maths in it?
There is no advantage for candidates who study mathematics for NEET exam. Admission in engineering is done through Joint Entrance Examination not through NEET.
NEET stands for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test. It is conducted by CBSE for MBBS and BDS admission. Eligibility criteria: 1. You must have minimum of 50% marks in 10+2 with PCB to apply for NEET exam. 2. Minimum age limit to apply for NEET exam is 17 years. |
