sir,
my name is akash Dewangan and i am persuing clss 11th.I want to be an astronaut.I want to know that in nit raipur is there astronautical branch or not?

Dear Friend

There is no such course available in NIT Raipur.

As you are interested in this field you should do B.Sc. and further studies in
Astrophysics, Physics (masters in quantum physics etc.), Statistics, Mathematics etc.
This path will lead you to become scientist and researcher of astronomical field.

If you want to enter the space organization then you should do Aerospace Engineering
or Avionics courses.
These courses too can turn you to a scientist.

There is no course as such which can get you a job outside earth(space) after
completion of course. Being an astronaut is not as tough as it looks. It is much more tough than as it look.

For a Space Mission, a team scientists, engineers, doctors etc. is formed.
Hundreds of such scientist and engineer work in space agency/organization but hardly
one two of them get a chance to go on some mission.

It completely depends on someone's fitness, knowledge and contributions to space
research to determine that if he/she should be selected for some mission.

Therefore I would like to suggest you to choose this career way only if you want to
work in this field.
If you want to go in this field just for your fantasy to roam in space then drop this
idea right away and choose that career path in which you have interests to work.

Akash sorry to say but Astronautical branch is not available in NIT raipur. But dont loose

your hope. There are many colleges from where you can complete your b.tech in

astronautical stream and can complete your dream. You first complete your 12th exam

with maths,physics and chemistry subjects and capture a good percentage. After that

you can apply for the following colleges for the astronautical branch:-

>> IIT,KANPUR

>> IIT,DELHI

>> IIT,CHENNAI

>> IIT,MUMBAI

>> IIT,KHARAGPUR

>> IIT,ROORKEE

>> IIT,GUWAHATI

>> IIIT,ALLAHABAD

>> College of Engineering,CHENNAI

>> Birla Institute of Technology Science

No.. aeronautical branch is not available there but as you are in 11th standard you can try your best to get admission in indian institute of aeronautical engineering and information technology.. best of luck...

In NIT Raipur , have not any department of Astronautical branch .

The departments of NIT Raipur is given below-

1)Applied geology
2)Applied mechanics
3)Architecture
4)Biomedical engineering.
5)Bio-technology

12)ECE
13)departments of physics

N.I.T Raipur not offer Aeronautical Engineering course.

Only two N.I.T offer Aeronautical engineering course that is
