Tips to prepare for BDO entrance exam


I want to prepare for BDO. Please, can you help me for entrance examination? What are the minimum criteria needed? Can you please guide me with the details soon as possible? Awaiting to get the response soon on this. Thank you.

If you want to apply for BDO(Block Development Officer) exam which is conducted by the state public service commission. Here below are the eligibility required and details regarding BDO Exam:-

Eligibility Required:-

>> Qualification required to apply for BDO exam is bachelors or Equivalent qualification from government recognized institute.

>> Applicant age must be in between 18 to 35 years. Relaxation of 5 years for candidates come under reserve categories.

Selection Procedure:- There are two steps in the selection procedure and every appearing candidate have to follow the procedure and steps of selection are as follows :-

1). Written Exam.

2). Personal Interview.

Written Exam:- Written exam is based on General Knowledge, Reasoning ability, Mental ability, Verbal ability.

Reference Books to be Preferred to Prepare For BDO Exam:-

1). Objective General English(By:- S.P Bashir).

2). NCERT 10+2 Level Books.

3). Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Book (By:- R.S Aggarwal).

4).Competitive Exam Idioms and Phrases English(By:- Roshan Tolani).

5). To prepare for Current Affairs Prefer Leading news papers available near by you.

So follow the Prescribed book and clear the written exam. Applicant who pass the written exam are called for personal interview as final step of selection.

For Block development office you should qualify the minimum criteria

Criteria
** Candidate must have passed the graduation degree from recognized institute.
** The age of the candidate must be between 21 to 28 years for general category.
** Candidate must have a CCC level certificate from DOEACC recognized institute.

The selection of the BDO will be done in following pattern
** Written Test (Qualifying nature)
** Physical Interview (Merit base of written test)
** Interview
** Medical examination and police verification.

BDO stands for Block Development Officer. To become BDO, you need to pass all stages of State Civil Services examination. Every state conducts its own entrance exam for this post. The academic qualification required is bachelor's degree from any recognized university. Final year graduation candidates can also apply for exam.

The minimum age limit is 21 years for most of State PSC exam. You can visit official website of your SPSC for more details. Tips to prepare:

>>Analyze the syllabus and previous year papers. In first stage, complete static part of syllabus where concepts of different social science subjects are there.

>>Solve mock tests and previous year papers at regular intervals. Practice answer writing.

>>Do revision at regular intervals.

BDO stands for 'Block Development Officer'. This exam is conducted by SPSC (State Pubic Service Commission).

You must have a graduation degree to apply for this post. Your degree must be well affiliated from any recognized university.
Age shall be 21 years to 30 years. Relaxation will be given to reserved category candidates as per norms.

Tips to prepare BDO exam:

Practice previous papers.
Make short notes for revision at 11th hour.
Be regular in study.
Be updated with general knowledge.

If you want to become Block Development Officer then you need to appear and qualify in the entrance exam.
The syllabus is:

General Knowledge

Elementary Mathematics

Basics of the Indian Constitution in which fundamental rights

Fundamental duties

State legislature

prepare yourself according to the syllabus and make a strict timetable which you can follow. Practice previous year question papers as much as you can as well as more tests.

Tips to prepare for this exam:

Make a time table which can be followed by you strictly.

Practice previous year question papers as much as available to you.

Know your strengths and weaknesses and then work on them.

Make use of Internet source if it is available to you.

Know the syllabus and prepare yourself according to the syllabus.

The full form of BDO is Block Development Officer.

Eligibility criteria for BDO entrance exam called State Public Service Commission exam:

1. Bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognized university.

2. Age limit is 21-35 years.

Tips to prepare:

Focus on NCERT books of History, Geography, Political science, Economics from standard 6th to 12th.

Read "The Indian Express newspaper for current affairs.

Make your own notes of whole syllabus and revise regularly.

Attend practice tests and work on weak subjects.
