Set-1

General Knowledge-100 marks

General English-100 marks

Set-2

General Tamil/General English-100 marks

Total Number of Questions:300

Exam time:3 hours

Minimum Qualifying Marks:90

Age Limit: Candidates must have at least 18 years and the max age limit is 30 years for general category candidates as on 01-07-2012.

Application fee:

Candidates have to pay 125 rupees for exam fee and application fee to each post

TNPSC Group 4 syllabus has General Knowledge,General English and General Tamil.

The first Question paper consists of 200 marks,100 marks for General English and 100 Marks for General knowledge. The question paper is printed in Tamil and English only.

The second question paper consists of General English or General Tamil for 100 marks.

Maximum qualifying marks are 90.
