I am currently doing MA in English Literature. My aim is to become a Professor. So, is it necessary to clear UGC exams? I need an excellent tutor/coaching centre to achieve my ambition. Would you please kindly let me know about the class durations, timings and fees structure?

Yes, now the minimum required educational qualification to become lecturer in colleges is that candidate must have passed UGC NET from a recognised university.

The examination is conducted twice in a year. You can join online classes for your preparation.
