What advantages or disadvantages have pure chemistry over industrial chemistry?


I was given pure chemistry as my degree course that if I were to choose for my self I would have gone for industrial chemistry owing to the fact that job opportunities for pure chemists are less. Please someone should advice me on this can a pure chemist work in the industry?

Advantages of Industrial chemistry
It's one of the most demanding science course, one can apply for jobs at various MNCs worldwide after earning a degree , diploma , certificate course.
The average salary is also ranges between INR 1 lac to INR 10 lacs.
&#Some of the drawbacks are
Those who choose chemical sector , they work in Laboratories , manufacturing facilities etc
Additionally take care of any chemicals or dangerous compounds in that area.
They resolve to end their life in seven to ten years.

Advantage of pure chemistry
These chemists often theorize and conduct research on a topic they are interested in learning more about.
Pure chemistry is important as it can lead to advances in quality of life and can help one to make better and informed decisions about products.
# Disadvantages:-
Some of the disadvantages include high costs and limitations on their properties, which can limit their usefulness in certain applications.
Some pure substance can also be hazardous to handle or use, requiring specialised precautions and equipment.
