Re: What is the age criteria to apply for UPSC 2020 exam session?
The age limit to apply for UPSC (Officially known as the Civil Services) examination 2020 is 21 years to 32 years as on the last 01.08.2019. Further, there is provision of age relaxation for candidates belonging to reserved category as per government norms and therefore the upper age limit in case of SC category candidates is 37 years.
So, being born on 16.03.1983 and belonging to SC category, you are not eligible for appearing in the Civil Services examination 2020 as your age will be over 37 years by the 01.08.2020. For more details regarding the Civil Services examination, you can refer to the link www.upsc.gov.in. |

You are not eligible to appear for the UPSC 2020 examination.
The age limit to appear for the examination is between 21-37 years for SC/ST candidates as on 01st August of year of appearing for the examination. So, you are above the age limit and hence, not eligible to appear in the examination next year. |
