Re: What all are the requirements for getting an architecture (NATA) seat?
Candidates who aspire for admission to 1st year of BArch (Bachelor of Architecture) in India should pass the National Aptitude Test in Architecture - NATA. It is a pre-qualification to take the BArch course in any Engineering College or Architecture School in India, including Government, Aided and Private institutions. Hence, if you are interested in selecting a BArch seat through the CET-2010 or COMEDK CET-2010, you need to pass and possess a Certificate of NATA. There is nothing like `One-Exam-per-year’. You can take the NATA any time convenient to you between 1 January 2010 and 31 September 2010 with a prior appointment. But, KEA has fixed April 23, 2010 as the last date for taking NATA - 2010 and April 26, 2010 as the last date for submitting the NATA scores to KEA. Now there is no hurry. But, it is better to take the exam earlier as you can possess the certificate in time or you make the repeat attempts if necessary.
good luck.. list of colleges that accept NATA score is given below ::--- 1.Faculty of Architecture, Manipal Institute of Technology, MANIPAL – 576104 0820-2571061 0820-2571071 [email protected] 2.The Principal, BMS College of Engineering, BANGALORE – 560019 080-26622130-35, [email protected] [email protected] 3.The Principal, BV Bhoomareddy College of Engineering & Technology, HUBLI– 580031 0836-2372076 0836-2374985 [email protected] 4.The Principal, Poojya Doddappa Appa College of Engineering, GULBARGA – 586102 08472-224262 08472-255885 [email protected] [email protected] 5.The Principal, Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, Shavige Malleshwara Hills, Kanakapura Road, South end of Jayanagar, BANGALORE – 560078 080-57700642, [email protected] [email protected] 6.The Principal, BLDE Association’s College of Engineering and Technology, Ashram Road, BIJAPUR-586103 08352-21120, 61120, [email protected] 7.The Principal, Malik Sandal Institute of Art and Architecture, Nauraspur, Near New District Court, Bagalkot road, Hudco Cross, BIJAPUR- 586101 08352-276930, 220717, [email protected] aspunekar@hotmailcom 8.The Principal, MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology Gokula Extn. Re: What all are the requirements for getting an architecture (NATA) seat?
To get into an Architechture college you will need to appear for either NATA or AIEEE. AIEEE also takes admission for BArch students. So you can give it a try
The forms are generally out after November. So keep tracking the official sites of NATA and AIEEE And you will also need to work hard as its little tough but not that tough best of luck |
