Hi, I have scored overall 50% in my B.Com Honors. So, now can I directly apply for Chartered Accountants IPCC group? What is the registration charges of IPCC and when can I write my first IPCC exam?

The minimum marks in aggregate required in B.Com. degree course to register for CA IPCC (Integrated Professional Competence Course) directly by exempting CA CPT is 55%.

So, having completed B.Com.(H) degree course with 50% marks, you are not eligible to register for CA IPCC directly.

The minimum education required to register for CA IPCC through direct entry scheme is a bachelor's degree in commerce stream with 55% marks in aggregate ( or 60% marks in aggregate for bachelor's degree in anyother discipline) from a recognized university.

So, having managed just 50% marks in your B.Com. degree course, you are not eligible for CA IPCC direct registration but you go for the same once you complete your foundation course in CA after qualifying CPT.
