Re: What are the benefits of joining NSS and NCC?
NCC is also known as National Cadet Cops, they provide a training program every year and hand out certificates accordingly. These NCC certificates are really very important and they prove to be beneficial in all the government exams. Candidates who have NCC certificates are given the highest priority and they have an edge over other candidates, especially in Defence jobs. The certificates are given according to the level of the candidate like A-certificate, B- certificate and so on. A candidate has to go through training for a period of time and has to pass the test at the end to get a certificate.
3. NSS NSS is an acronym for National Service Scheme. Just like NCC, NSS is also very advantageous. But in NSS, service to the public is the main program where as in NCC physical training is given much more importance. The program requires the candidate to serve the public for a given amount of time, which will be monitored by higher officials or seniors. Serving the public includes helping elderly, teaching in government schools, serving in rural areas and similar activities. A certificate will be awarded at the end of the program based upon the evaluation of the candidate by the authorities. Also along with physical strengths, social work and job opportunities in government sector these certificates helps you to get jobs in private sector. As these certificates helps you to stand out of crowd. |

Re: What are the benefits of joining NSS and NCC?
NSS:- Full form of NSS is national service scheme which is sponsered by Indian government and is a public service program conducted by the ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports of the government of India.
It was launched in 1969. NCC is national cadet corps. It is open to school and colleges and is completely voluntary. The cadets are given basis military training in small arms and parades. Basically, it for helping public like saving from fire, water etc. Both are equally important as both teach the lesson to help manking and have the sense of equality. Both are given weightage in government jobs. You have many options to do jobs in like airforce, navy, military etc. |
