What is the course structure of IIT's B.Tech Information Technology?

Is B.Tech Information Technology easy for Biology and Mathematics students of Intermediate and with only basic computer knowledge? What is the course structure of B.Tech IT? Is it different for all colleges and universities? What about IIT's course structure?

IITs does not offer Information Technology branch in their curriculum. So, you need to pursue this branch from other institute/university.

Yes, basic computer knowledge is sufficient for pursuing Information Technology branch. You will learn computer languages like C, Java, etc. in semesters depending upon your university's course structure.

If you have completed 10+2 with Biology and Mathematics, then also you are suitable for pursuing B.Tech in Information Technology. There is no use of Biology in entire B.Tech course. But Mathematics of 10+2 level will help you alot in first three semester as there is a subject Engineering Mathematics.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
