What are the courses available for a career in Banking sector?
What are the different courses available after 12th for a good career in Banking sector? Please, list all such courses and exam details and books which I need to follow.

You can take BBA (Bachelor in Business Administration) in Banking and Finance in graduation to work in banking sector. However, It is not a compulsory requirement to work in banking sector even with different courses in graduation will make you eligible to work in a banking sector.
You can take examination of IBPS (Indian Banking and Personnel Selection) which have 3 stages : Prelims : It will be of 100 marks with English Language, Mathematics and Reasoning as main subjects. Time will be allotted 1 hour for this test. It is of qualifying nature. Mains : it will be of 200 Marks with English Language, Mathematics, General Awareness and Reasoning as main subjects. Time will be allotted 2 hour for this test. Interview : It will be of 100 marks. Cut Off : You have to score around 100 in mains and 50-60 in Interview. Books : English -> Objective General English by S.P Bakshi. Mathematics -> Mathematics (Arithmetic) by Rakesh Yadav. Reasoning -> General Intelligence and Reasoning by Arihant Publications. General Awareness -> The Hindu, Monthly Magazines. |

For Banking Sector courses, Candidate must have minimum Bachelor's Degree in any stream.
1.Candidates must apply for courses like PGDBS(Post Graduate Diploma in Banking Services). Eligibility Criteria for PGDBS Course 1.Candidate must have minimum Bachelor's Degree in any Stream. 2.Age of Candidate is between 18 to 25. |

Since you are interested in join banking sector so you do not have to worry about the course/stream which you need to pursue for your graduation degree to be eligible for joining the banking sector as joining banking sector as a bank clerk and bank probationary officer all that is required is a graduation in any stream from a recognized university.
So you can go for any bachelor degree course as per your interest to join banking sector. To have an additional option of specialist officer you need to pursue your degree course with specific subject as per the requirement of post. As far as you are concerned about the books for preparation of bank examinations then for that you could refer to the books by Arihant Publications or Upkar Publications on the pattern of bank examinations. Further you must go through weekly and monthly magazines for the preparation of Current Affairs part. Also for your recruitment in nationalized banks of India at above mentioned posts you need to qualify bank examinations like IBPS bank examination and SBI bank examination. You should pursue graduation in any stream to be eligible for Banking exams.
Some of the graduation degree courses are mentioned below:- BA B.Sc B.Com BBA BCA Hotel Management Fashion Designing After completing graduation you should join coaching classes for guidelines and better results. Next year examination starts from the month of April-May. So hurry up. Books to read are- Maths- R.S. Agrawal English- BSC Reasoning- BSC BSC magazines for general awareness. |

Look, you have to first complete your graduation degree just after completing 12th. After completing graduation, you will become eligible for applying in various vaccancies in banking sector.
You can choose any of the stream in graduation. This depend upon you to choose which subject you want. Eligibility criteria for banking sector:- Candidate must have graduation degree from any recognized university. Candidate's age must be minimum 21 years. Upper age limit will depend upon the post which you are applying for. |

First of all, you have to complete your graduation degree, then after you will be eligible to apply for the jobs in banking sector.
Eligibility criteria for banking sector:- Candidate must have graduated from any recognised university. Candidate must have scored at least 50% aggregate in graduation. Candidate's age must be minimum 21 years. Upper age limit will depend upon the post for which you apply. |

To get job in banking sector the required minimum educational qualification is bachelor degree from a recognised university.
The age limit and discipline of bachelor degree varies with examination. So, you can pursue the subject as according to your choice. The entrance examination for recruitment as Clerk, PO and SO ( Specialist Officer ) is conducted by IBPS and SBI.
