What is the criteria for being a local resident candidate to get admission in engineering colleges in Telangana State?
Sir, my son is a resident of Maharashtra and studied from 1st to 8th in Maharashtra. Then 9th to 12th in Hyderabad. He is local or non-local resident for admission in engineering colleges in Telangana State through EAMCET?

Resident and domicile are two different terms. Resident means one who is presently living at a place. If your son is presently leaving in Telangana then he is resident of this state. The state in which your son was born and raised up is domicile.
You may be resident of any state or Union Territory but you are domicile of a single state. Domicile of a state helps you to claim reservation benefits, other advantages etc. |
