SCRA Stands for Special Class Railway Apprentices Examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission.

Eligibility Criteria :-

candidate must be completed intermediate with Mathematics and at least one of subjects Physics and Chemistry as subjects of the examination from a recognized School or equivalent qualification OR graduate degree with Mathematics and at least one of subjects Physics and Chemistry as subjects of the examination from a recognized University or equivalent qualification.

Candidate must must have attained the age of 17 years and must not have attained the age of 21 years at the time of appearing for SCRA examination and relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PH categories.

Age limits :-

• SCST :- 5 years.
• OBC :- 3 years.
• Ex-Servicemen :- 5 years.

SCRA Exam Pattern :-

Candidate must must be physically fit according to the physical standards for admission to the Special Class Railway Apprentices examination.

This year examination was already held on 29.01.12 but the examination results was not declared.So,please wait for few months then the results will be released.

I think the examination results will be release in the month of May or June in the official website as well as employment news papers.

Every year UPSC (Union Public Service Commision) conducts SCRA (Special Class Railway Apprentices) Exam in order to recruit candidates into mechanical stream of Indian Railways.

To appear for this exam, you must have completed 12th class as it is the minimum academic qualification.

The examintion results are alreay announced and is available in the official website of Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) government : www.upsc.gov.in. To check the result, you have to just click on the website of the UPSC.
