Re: What is the difference between a Resume and CV?
A resume is a formal document that showcase the basic yet crucial information about a person's career experience.
On the other hand, CV- curriculum vitae is longer and more detailed form. For perfect resume for fresher Start with your career objective, followed by your academics and projects then mention about your internship and skills that you have learned over a period of time and finish with Achievements. Just make it short and precise (not more than one page), representable and no grammatical errors. |

Re: What is the difference between a Resume and CV?
Resume and CV (Curriculum Vitae) have differences in terms of their length and outlook.
Resume gives a brief description about yourself like skills, experience within 1 or 2 pages. While CV gives a detailed information about yourself. Resume is basically job-oriented and you can modify it as per your job requirement. While CV is job-oriented as well as you can use it for other purposes. As you will be attending TCS Online test, so after qualifying test, you will need Resume. In Resume, you should mention only those in which you are confident. Adding unnecessary things in Resume could bring you in trouble. |

Re: What is the difference between a Resume and CV?
The primary differences between a resume and a curriculum vitae (CV) are length, what is included, and what each is used for. While both are used in job applications, a resume and a CV are not always interchangeable.
