What are the different requirements to apply for engineering courses in German Universities?

My son completing his BE Mechanical Engineering from Amrita University, Amirtapuri, Kerala. He have 1 arrears paper. Which he will completing in coming semester i.e. in November, 2019. Basically he is very intelligent student. He successfully done many projects in Car Designing and achieved success. I would like to send him to Germany for higher studies i.e. MS Mechanical Engineering. Can you advice me to proceed further?
