The required eligibility to appear in MPSC examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recogbised university.

The age limit is 19-33 years with relaxation for reserved category.

Diploma is not equivalent to bachelor degree. So, you will have to pursue and complete bachelor degree course to appear and qualify in various stages of examination for final selection.

The minimum education required to apply for MPSC (Maharashtra Public Service Commission) examination or any other PSC examinations is a graduation degree in any stream from a recognised university.

So, having just completed your Diploma in Mechanical engineering degree course, you are not eligible to apply for MPSC examination on the basis of same degree course as it is not equivalent to a graduation degree course.

For more details regarding MPSC examination, you can refer to the link www.mpsc.gov.in.
