What type of preparation make CID Officer? What educational qualification do one requires for it? Apart from education what physical figure do one requires? What are the entrance exam one have to appear for?

The educational qualification required to apply for CID officer post is Graduation pass or an equivalent examination pass from UGC approved college or university.
And age limit to apply for this exam is 18-27 years and the age relaxations are :
-> 3 years for OBC candidates
-> 5 years for SC and ST candidates and Ex-servicemen.
And physical standards required to apply for this exam are :
-> Height should be 165 cm for men and 152 cm for women candidates & 5 cm height relaxation for reserved category candidates.
-> Eye sight should be 6/6 or 6/9 in good eye, 6/9 or 6/12 in bad eye for distant vision & 0.5 in good eye, 0.8 in worst eye for near vision.
