Bank Clerk positions are in hot demand these days. The number of candidates who are applying for these positions are going on increasing.
The selection procedure for Bank Clerical positions is by -Written Exam -Interview The written exam consists of questions from the following categories -Reasoning -Quantitative Aptitude -General Awareness -General English -Computer Knowledge One should have to secure minimum qualifying marks in each of the categories of the written exam to get through the written test. There is negative marking for the wrong answers. Its not possible to give you the exact areas from which the questions are being asked. But, I can provide you the various books consisting of previous year question papers. Try to purchase any one of that and you can have a glance over number of previous year question papers of bank clerk exams. This will benefit you to get some idea of what questions are being asked and the way how they are being asked so that you can plan your preparation. Here they are, |

Syllabus for Clerk Exam:
In this FIVE sections. 1. Reasoning --------- 50 questions(50 marks) 2. English language --------50 questions(50 marks) 3. Numerical ability ----------50 questions(50 marks) 4. General awareness ----------50 questions(50 marks) 5. Computer knowledge ---------50 questions(50 marks) The Eligibility for Bank Clerical Examination: Qualification: **The candidate must have to complete 10th with 60% from a recognized board. (OR) ** The candidate must have to complete 12th with 50% from a recognized board. (OR) **The candidate must have to complete graduation with 50% from a recognized board or university. Age limit: The age limit in between 18 to 28 years. For SC/ST/PWD has upper age relaxation. |

Going for Bank Clerk Exam really good to hear there are a lot openings you must appear and take the chance and get a better option. Need not to worry much about syllabus , it contains Pattern for Bank Clerk: Test of Reasoning Ability Test of Numerical Ability Test of English Language Test of Clerical Aptitude Test of Computer knowledge Computer very basic knowledge that everyone must have in todays era. Bank exams tests your aptitude section. The syllabus for bank exams is mainly same. It includes: 1. Quantitative Aptitude 2. Logical reasoning 3. General English 4. Marketing Aptitude 5. Computer Knowledge Eligibility criteria for bank exams:- For Clerical Cadre: For SBI & some other banks which conducts their own examination you must be 12th passed to appear for the exam. Age limit is 18 to 28 yrs for general. Earlier for IBPS also same eligibility was required but now from 2013 onwards for clerk exams also you need to be a Graduate. Age limit is now 21 to 28 yrs for IBPS to apply for clerk exam. For PO exam: You need to be a graduate for all bank PO exams. Age limit should be between 21 to 30 yrs. Age relaxation is given in case of reserved Categories for both clerical & PO exam: It is 21 to 33 yrs for OBC. 21 to 35 yrs. 21 to 40 yrs. |
