What is the IES eligibility?


Is a candidate eligible for IES if he/she has not completed his/her engineering degree within a time period of 4 years?

Those who have passed engineering degree is eligible for IES. The number of years taken to complete the course is not a restriction. The exam can be attended in subjects of Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, mechanical engineering, and civil engineering. Those who have attained the age of 21 years and those who are below 30 years can apply. OBC and SC/ST candidates are given with age concession of 3 years and 5 years.
