What is the importance of ICAR approval for colleges?

I am studying 2nd year BE Agriculture in Mahendra Engineering College affiliated to Anna University. The course is not approved by ICAR. Is it valid or do I need to shift to other courses or same course but from other colleges?

ICAR approval is not necessary for State Government Agricultural College (whether it is govt or private). But every agricultural colleges of India should follow the ICAR norms to maintain the quality of education.
So you don't need to change your colleges due to this reason.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
